Picking Time at Cherrydale

27/10/2012

Started some spot (colour) picking today on Empress with my sons Mark and John.
5 weeks since last blog entry.
Typical mixed bag of weather this spring hot, cold, 75mm of timely rain, some snow mixed with rain, sleet a couple of light frosts, but, Here We Are!!!
In this district it takes approximately 45-50 days from Empress to Sweet Georgia.

Mark and John

have picked cherries all their life.[

This is an open and honest look at what is happening around Cherrydale today.

I wish all cherrygrowers in Australia a good harvest.
